Background Born in Cardiff, Great Britain, I have worked in UK, US, Sweden, Korea and Thailand - as well as numerous places around the world on short-term assignments. I hold a degree in Theology, with my major in linguistics of ancient languages. Character I am an optimistic person and work well with all age groups. I am, by nature, highly-motivated, goal-orientated, and socially competent. I teach through effective communication with well-developed presentation, facilitation abilities, excellent verbal communication, writing and listening skills. I enjoy working with students, gaining their confidence, establishing good basis of communication, and leading them to measurable improvements. |
Working History
From 1988 till 2003 I lived in Sweden, where I taught classes for Microsoft desktop office programs I later worked as a programmer, a global project manager and an SAP consultant. I am a Microsoft Certified Professional and have programmed in Basic, Visual Basic, Java and php. I have also had my own translation and training company ‘Speak Well’, teaching Business English to company directors and Embassy personnel.

After 8 years with WM-data, I began working in Ericsson as a Technical Author for Ericsson Radio Systems in Sweden.
My tasks included the creation of technical documentation to a Unix-based GSM/Internet integration system, travelling to various countries in order to interview and compile reaction to this new system. I was also active in creating proposal documentation for consortium and joint venture activities between Ericsson and sub-contractors during various visits to Ericsson offices in London. |
A year later I was assigned Global Content Coordinator for DCP (Division for Consumer Products). This included coordinating product release information on global product sites for the complete web-marketing mobile phone product portfolio for Ericsson and Sony Ericsson. After the successful launch of SonyEricsson, I was added to the staff for the final rollout year for SAP HR module in Ericsson.

I was first assigned to assist the Customer Implementation Services Lead, and then completed pre-studies for implementations for Ericsson in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. I provided Application Management and Implementation configuration support at Ericsson’s office in Kuala Lumpur office (Malaysia).
I coordinated and completed numerous SAP HR configurations for Ericsson companies, and provided global SAP HR AM support. My area of SAP configuration expertise was PA, OM and Security. In my final months at Ericsson, as HRMS System Landscape Coordinator, I was responsible for the upgrade, refresh and implementation programs for SAP HR Global Development and Maintenance.

I obtained a CELTA from Cambridge University so that I could adequately teach English as a Foreign Language and moved to Thailand in 2003, where I began teaching for ECC Corporate Training Department at their Head Office in Siam, Bangkok. I mainly taught business clients English, enabling them to handle international and global business situations more thoroughly, as well as IELTS and TOEFL courses for students to enter universities.

In 2004, I began teaching high school students at Wat Suthiwararam (M1–6: Grades 7-12), developing course material for the school’s general English courses, and helping to plan and participate in English camps. In January 2007, I worked as an English and Computer teacher at Phitsanulok Pittayakom school, developing ICT classes (C and Java) for M4 and M5, and developing a preparatory IELTS course for M5-M6 (Grade 11-12).
When I had finished my contract, I worked with English Channel in Seoul, South Korea. There I had opportunity to develop my skills in teaching speaking, conversation and business communication at the English Channel branch in Yeouido, the financial district of Seoul. Most of my students were directors, executives, stock brokers and financial analysts, as well as teenagers preparing to move to study overseas.

Between 2008-2012, I worked as language instructor at Dhurakij Pundit University in Bangkok, where I taught over 23 different courses related to Business English Communication at undergraduate and post-graduate level. I also created course content and course books for 1st, 2nd, and 4th year content and skills courses, held workshops, worked as part of an EP examination team, and presented a research paper at an international conference. Now I am back in Phitsanulok.
