M6 English Fundamentals
This course develops skills and techniques required for successful completion of the GAT examination for sixth year high school students. Students will receive test-taking strategies and knowledge building strategies to help improve their score.
Course Objectives: By the end of the course, students should be able to:
1. Organize thoughts for a timed essay 2. Interpret selected reading passages 3. Use diverse vocabulary 4. Determine the necessary skill needed for a question In addition this course is designed to:
a) Pinpoint the student’s strengths and weaknesses b) Drill with practice quizzes c) Review techniques to help students identify question types and apply appropriate strategies d) Monitor student's progress and chart improvements e) Build the real confidence to tackle the verbal and writing sections of the GAT

Example of the Thailand General Aptitude Test (GAT)
For students wishing to achieve entry into a university in Thailand through the university admission system, a good score in the General Aptitude Test (GAT) is very important. Section 2 of the test, and 50% of the score, is on your ability to communicate in English. The exam will test your English in: Speaking, Vocabulary, Structure and Writing.
